Absentee & Early Voting
Absentee Voting (September 21-November 5)

You can vote early by using an absentee ballot, instead of voting in person at your polling place on Election Day.

Voting by Mail Absentee Ballot
To request an absentee ballot by mail, fill out an online absentee ballot application. Please submit your application no later than 2:00 p.m. on the Friday before Election Day, to ensure adequate time for the ballot to reach you via U.S. mail and for you to return it.  When you receive the ballot, complete it and mail it to:

Ramsey County Elections
PO Box 64098
St. Paul, MN 55164-0098

If you choose not to mail your absentee ballot, you can bring it to City Hall.

Voting In Person Absentee
You may cast an absentee ballot in person at the Ramsey County Elections Office in St. Paul or at the Ramsey County Public Works building in Arden Hills from September 21 through November 5. The hours will be 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday until October 26. Please visit Ramsey County Elections' Vote Before Election Day and select Vote In Person Absentee for the complete list of dates and hours of operation.

Early Voting (October 30 through November 5)

Early voting will not be conducted at City Hall.
