The 2022 Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, August 9

Absentee/early voting for the Primary Election began Friday, June 24th and ends Monday, August 8 (you must vote at your local precinct on Tuesday, August 9). There are two locations open to all Ramsey County voters regardless of where you live where you can cast your ballot in person - the Ramsey Count Elections office located on Plato Blvd in St. Paul or at the Ramsey County Library - Roseville located on Hamline Ave in Roseville.  For dates and hours of operation at these two early voting locations, and the most up-to-date information about early voting, visit Ramsey County Elections

Instead of voting in person, you can cast your vote by mail.  Residents can request to receive an absentee ballot via mail a few ways: complete an online application at, contact Ramsey County Elections to request that a paper application be mailed out (a return envelope will be included); or print and complete a paper application.  Paper applications can be returned to Ramsey County Elections via mail or dropped off in person at their office located at 90 Plato Blvd W, Suite 160 in St. Paul.  Following receipt of the application for an absentee ballot, Ramsey County will mail the absentee ballot to you.

Once you receive your ballot, you can return it via U.S. Mail or in person. For more information about returning your mailed ballot, visit Ramsey County Elections

You must vote at your local precinct on the Primary Election Day - August 9.
