Absentee and Early Voting

Ramsey County residents may vote before Election Day beginning 46 days before each election. All voters can vote early by absentee ballot in Minnesota. You do not need to provide a reason for voting early. 

Voters have several options for casting their ballot before Election Day

To check on the status of a mailed ballot, visit the Secretary of State's What is the Status of My Absentee or Mail Ballot?  You can also call Ramsey County Elections at 651-266-2171 for further questions.

Voting In Person Before Election Day

The following locations will be open for in-person voting for ALL Ramsey County residents, no matter where you reside in the County:

Locations open September 23 through November 7:

Ramsey County Library - Roseville
Sept. 23 - Oct. 31:  Weekdays only, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Nov. 1 -  Nov. 4:  10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Nov. 5: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. (Saturday)
Nov. 7: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Monday)

Ramsey County Elections - Plato Building
Sept. 23 - Oct. 31: Weekdays only, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Nov. 1 - Nov. 4:  8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Nov. 5: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. (Saturday)
Nov. 7: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Monday)

First Tee of Twin Cities - Highland National Golf Course
Frogtown Community Center
Ramsey County Library - White Bear Lake

These locations are open:
Nov. 1 - 4: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. (Tues, Wed, Thurs and Fri)
Nov. 5: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. (Saturday)
Nov. 7: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Monday)

NOTE:  Early voting WILL NOT be offered this election season at the New Brighton Community Center nor the Shoreview - Ramsey County Library.
