John Connelly, the President of the Twin Cities North (TCN) Chamber of Commerce, provided the City Council with an update on its recent activities and what the Chamber does for local businesses. Recent activities and initiatives included:
- New membership outreach in 2023
- The creation of a Manufacturing Cohort, a new group of manufacturers getting together to share best practices and position the region for the next generation of manufacturing
- An update on the Back to Lexington Campaign, meant to drive business back to the Lexington Ave corridor
- The Chamber also shared an example of a promotional video it put together for the Back to Lexington Campaign
John also shared how the Chamber assists local businesses providing services, such as, Certificates of Origin, advocacy with policy makers, welcoming new businesses, and community participation.
