The Ramsey County Sheriff's Office has released the 2021 First Quarter Calls for Service in Arden Hills and the 2021 First Quarter Calls for Service by Contract Community reports. These reports detail the number of calls responded to by patrol units in each of the Sheriff Office's seven contract communities from the time period of January 1, 2021 to March 31, 2021, as well as a comparison to calls over the past four years for the same quarter. Calls were up slightly from 2020 in Arden Hills, but were at or below average for the last five years. Medical assist and traffic stops remain the highest number of calls.
Calls for Service are incidents responded to by deputies. Calls are often initiated by citizens via 9-1-1 or deputy initiation while on patrol. Calls for Service are not “crimes” until so determined after investigation of the incident.
