      Buckthorn pickup runs Fridays from May through the end of October.
    4. Buckthorn Rules
      For same week buckthorn pickup, the form must be submitted by 12 p.m. on Thursday. If a form is submitted after 12 p.m. on Thursday, the buckthorn will be picked up on Friday of the following week. Buckthorn pieces should be NO more than 10 feet in length. Buckthorn should be placed in organized piles with the cut side toward the road next to the curb. Roots must be cut off of all buckthorn. The City will leave all buckthorn that has roots. BUCKTHORN ONLY! Crews will NOT pick up any portion (including buckthorn) if trees/brush other than buckthorn are present.
