Arden Oaks and Freeway Park Improvements

Two of Arden Hills neighborhood parks, Arden Oaks and Freeway, are due for improvements in 2025. Each park’s play structures and swings were built in 1999 and 1998 and City’s Park Maintenance Management Plan calls for park equipment to be considered for replacement every 20 years. The plan also calls for hardcourts to be considered for resurfacing every 5-8-years, with a life expectancy of 25-35 years depending on conditions. Arden Oaks Park and Freeway Park are both scheduled for a resurfacing in 2025.
