Arden Hills has the amenities that businesses expect in a metropolitan area - excellent transportation infrastructure, access to an educated workforce and a high quality of life.

The City of Arden Hills is one of only a few cities in Minnesota that has more people working in the city than living here. According to the Metropolitan Council Community Profile, Arden Hills has nearly 10,000 residents and approximately 11,000 employees.

Community Development staff work with the City Council and the Economic Development Authority to help expand existing businesses and attract new businesses to the community in order to grow and diversify the City's tax base, employment and services.
