Calling All Gardeners!

Are you excited by the idea of growing your own flowers, herbs, and produce but don’t have adequate soil or sunlight conditions for a garden? The City offers local residents the opportunity to rent a garden plot at the City’s shared site located on Old Highway 10. 

To reserve a garden plot, interested parties submit the Garden Plot Sublease application online starting March 1st OR in person at City Hall. There is a $55.00/plot fee to cover the costs of garden preparation. A layout of the garden plot layout is included in the application. Please take a look, then indicate your first, second, and third plot choices on your sublease/application form.

Last year’s garden plot lessees have priority in leasing the same plot from the year before. After April 1st, plots will be leased on a first come first serve basis. You may lease one plot until April 30th. If there are any plots available after April 30th, then you may reserve an additional plot beginning May 1st.

You will be notified of your assignment the 2nd week of May.
