Ramsey County residents may vote before Election Day beginning 46 days before each election. All voters can vote early by absentee ballot in Minnesota. You do not need to provide a reason for voting early.

- Friday, June 26 - Absentee voting begins (Primary Election)
- Tuesday, July 14 - Candidate Filing period begins
- Tuesday, July 28 - Candidate Filing period closes
- Thursday, July 30 - Deadline to withdraw Candidate Filing
- Tuesday, August 11 - Primary Election
- Friday, September 18 - Absentee voting begins (General Election)
- Friday, October 16 - Direct balloting begins
- Tuesday, November 3 - General Election
