Economic Development Authority

Main duties

The Economic Development Authority (EDA) is the focal point for economic development in the City. The EDA has legal authority to operate public facilities, be a limited partner in economic development activities, and to buy, sell, and lease land for economic development purposes. 

Membership

The Mayor and City Council make up the membership of the EDA. The Mayor and Council meet as the EDA when discussing issues related to economic development and development finance.
