Recycling Day - Saturday, May 30, 2026 in Arden Hills!
This event is open to all Arden Hills residents from 9 a.m. to noon at the Public Works Yard. Residents may dispose of specific residential materials free of charge.
Arden Hills residents (ID required) can drop off most refuse and electronics free of charge. Contact Jen Estling at 651-792-7830 for any questions.
Items Accepted:
- Fluorescent bulbs
- TVs and monitors
- Small and large miscellaneous electronics
- Holiday lights
- Appliances with and without Freon
- Batteries (automotive, household and reusable)
- Tires (limit 10 tires total)
- Mattress and box spring
- Hide-a-bed
- Couches
- Sectional couch
- Grills (propane and charcoal)
- Aluminum cans
- Scrap metal
- Small engine equipment
- Wheelchairs
- Windows with metal frames
NOTE: Any item not shown on this list, including electronic devices containing data storage and household hazardous waste, will NOT be accepted.
Items NOT Accepted:
- Brush/yard waste
- Railroad ties
- Plastic, cardboard, Styrofoam or wood
- Oversized items such as hot tubs, boats or sheds
- Engines containing gasoline or oil
- Carpet
